In order to register to bid at a TNT Auction you must show valid, government issued photo identification and proof of $300 cash or a credit/debit card. No money is collected when you register to bid. $300 is the minimum deposit per unit once you have become the successful bidder at an auction. This deposit goes toward the balance of your invoice.
If you are registering as a business or a bonded automobile dealer, please be prepared with a copy of your business license or dealer license in addition to your photo ID and proof of deposit.
If you would like to register with an address outside of the United States you will be required to leave a $5000 US cash deposit before obtaining a bidder card. This deposit is fully refundable if you do not make a purchase.

Is there a minimum or starting bid for each item in the auction?
May

2009
Normally, unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer, there is no minimum starting bid on anything in the auction. The Auctioneer will generally speak out a price and go down until someone in the audience raises their hand to bid. The Auctioneer will then continue to ask for higher bids from the audience until there are no more competing bids. Each item in the auction is normally sold to the highest bidder. Remember, the Auctioneer's announcements take precedence over all other information.
Are auctions live, silent, or online?

Most auctions are live auctions and you must attend them in person to bid.
Occasionally we hold online auctions called Timed Internet Auctions. This is an online only auction and items are offered for bid online only.
At some auctions at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility, we will conduct live online bidding on specific units only. Items in this type of auction will be sold live at the auction facility but with supplemental real time bidding from qualified online buyers during the live auction.
Unless otherwise noted in the auction information, the auctions are live only. Please check the details for each auction carefully to determine the type of bidding available.
